Soft Skilling of Professionals


Technical expertise alone does not guarantee effective dispute resolution. The success of ADR processes often depends on soft skills such as communication, emotional intelligence, cultural sensitivity, ethical judgment, and the ability to manage power imbalances and complex human dynamics.
The ADR Centre is committed to the soft skilling of ADR professionals through targeted training, workshops, and experiential learning programmes. These initiatives focus on enhancing listening skills, facilitation techniques, negotiation strategy, empathy, and professionalism—ensuring that ADR practitioners are not only technically competent but also capable of delivering fair, humane, and durable outcomes.

Our mandate is not to replace existing institutions, but to amplify their impact through shared training programmes, research, digital innovation, and coordinated case-support systems. The Center enhances institutional capacity, reduces bottlenecks, and promotes consistent, high-standard ADR practice across the board.
